As it had been raining decided to miss the morning ride and do the crossy at regatta point. Plenty of people there and got in a proper warm-up before hand. Set off at an optimistic Trev pace, but was suffering a bit after the turn round, reflected in times of 7.27 out and 7.47 back. Just held off patrick and acejase. Two years ago did this in 14.26 just before the marathon.

Bilbys. whistle set 4x4min(2) 2x2(1). Had done enough after the 2x2 so didn't attempt the additional 4 reps that was supposed to be good for half marathon training. Lachy, Geoff and Sanders all running extra quick and calling out 'go devil' as they went past me

Crockatoos long run. All the real cockies were training at snows hill or orienteering, so it was left to the veterans (apart from Al and Sanders) to meander round and up ainslie then down a mystery track to campell park and up hackett hill. The plan was to do 90 mins but there were no calls for an extra five minutes when we got back to the carpark. Deli marx breakfast good apart from the incineration of raisin toast.
