Orienteering race 21:05 [5] 3.2 km (6:35 / km)
shoes: HH trailcutters

ACT sprint championships. Was not feeing super-awake for this one and was a bit wobbly off the start. There wasn't much route choice at all which made things fairly easy. One of the Qlders went past before the bush section which meant I got a good sighting of the controls there as he ran into them. Had a bit of brain explosion towards the end and ran past 21 which cost a minute or so. Never felt like I was at sprint speed but the overall result was on a par with pretty much every sprint I've ever run.

Orienteering race 48:28 [3] 6.17 km (7:51 / km) +155m 6:59 / km
shoes: HH trailcutters

ACT middle. This was quite a good run for me, let down by switching off at controls 9 and 10. As for the morning race didn't feel I was moving at a very quick pace, but apart from small wobble at 7 was orienteering well. Drifted right into 9, but didn't have a plan into the control so dropped a minute or more figuring our where I was coming out of the green stuff. Was saved by the beep of the SI unit. Similar story into 10, was in the right area but expected the watercourse to be more obvious than it was and spent at least 5 mins sorting it out.

Running 30:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics Kayano 14

Decided not to overdo it with a Bilbys intervals session before the weekend so did a plod round one of miss jones's triangles, dryandra, mcarthur, wattle with a stop to empty my postbox. Nearly got ran down by bike on the footpath who had bright lights but wasn't using them to see by.

Running long 1:23:00 [3] 14.0 km (5:56 / km)
shoes: Asics Kayano 14

Longish rub on Mt Majura and a big loop through the pines to avoid having to do HH or Ainslie as legs were feeling sore after yesterday. Just sanders there as everyone else must have done the saturday long run.
