Sprint event at Bruce CIT. It was quite a warm day and a pretty good turnout for this fun sprint which took in the CIT campus and a bit of the neighbouring bush. My run was fairly clean, but didn't feel like I was going at express pace. Little hesitations between 3 and 4, and a few places where I was a bit off line in the bush.

Just a few of us at Thursday ints. Shortish set of 2x1k(200), 4x600(200). Splits were 4.06, 4.06, 2.21, 2.22, 2.17, 2.20. Wasn't pushing hard, just getting the legs moving.

Warm up and down, there was also quite a bit of sitting around chatting at the end.

The final summer series at yarralumla bays. A 100m warmup revealed that my legs weren't too sore. Sanders had set a course through a few contrasting areas of the map, which was fun to run. Focused on getting the navigation clean, maybe lost a few seconds here and there. Happy with the run.

A bit of a gap in proceedings at the training course so I rode from eaglehawk to washing machine hill and back. Took it easy on the uphill bits.

At a csiro leadership love-in at the great location of the eaglehawk resort for the next few days. Tried to jog down to the gym after the session but was clear this was not a good idea. There are two machines, a bike (already taken) and a rower, so I did 20 mins. I haven't rowed for about 13 years so my arms might be feeling it tomorrow.

Pretty sore today, although nowhere near as bad as after Canberra marathon. As a rest day went round a cave tour at jenolan with 1300 steps ...
