(rest day)

A rest day, with the highlight of emptying my PO box this morning and finding two runners shop vouchers in there, one for going to far too many summer series events this year and the other was for winning M40s at last years weston creek half (puffy gave the prize to someone else at the race) - nice surprise :) time for another pair of shoes...

Bilbys bruce ridge intervals, a really small group and only three of us doing intervals. I was feeling pretty tired and this showed in the slow times for the 4 gate to gates, picked it up a bit towards the end of the 4 bike paths.

Bilbys intervals on fire trails at the bottom of hackett hill. 12x 500m with about 100m recovery. There was a little lump in the middle which made it a little bit harder than running on the track. Pushed quite hard on these, was certainly feeling it by the end. Should be back at Dickson ovals next week.

Bit of an ordinary run on Tharwa Tor, lack of consistent focus led to too many mistakes. Was on the right line to 3, but couldn't see rocks in the bushes so went high, stopped a bit short on 11 and wasted time looking behind rocks while grace went past, went a bit too far right on 20 where I'd rubbed some rocks off my map so thought the ones on the ground were the only ones there and a bit messy into 21. I did at least shoo the cows away that grace was hiding from on the way to 12.
