Cycling 2:28:32 [3] 72.88 km (2:02 / km) +836m 1:56 / km

An easy cotter-uriarra with the bilbys, much more pointing at obstacles on the road this week, but gary still managed to hit a hole and dislodge his handlebars. Nice morning for riding and the magpies were keeping clear of our bunch.

I decided that running two nights in a row was a bad idea so gave summer series a miss and did a loop of brucie instead. No more bikes left at work so this one was from home.

A very brief bilbys intervals, just 3x800 to see how the foot went. Didn't feel very quick but the feet did loosen up a bit during the set. Quite warm and humid too, felt a bit summery

Running warm up/down 6:29 [3] 1.21 km (5:23 / km) +7m 5:14 / km

Just did a short run starting at 8.30 to see how my feet were going. Up the the GMFT then HH and ainslie where I passed sebba and grantm coming down and later on marymac. Took a slightly terrainy route back across the base of ainslie then finished off under the powerlines. Definitely not bacon worthy but good to join the others for coffee at sfoglia afterwards. Feet a bit sore but no worse than after a day of walking around at work - plus it was a great morning to be out running.
