Cycling 2:28:49 [3] 72.62 km (2:03 / km) +719m 1:57 / km

Saturday ride, wasn't raining at 7am so decided to go. Set off with a mediumish group, and was being careful on the wet roads. Not careful enough as hit a greasy patch in o'connor and even though I'd slowed the bunch down for the corner my back wheel went. Took a while to recover but kept on riding. Was good out to lake george but then the rain started, got a flat at the junction of shingle hill way which was tricky to change as my left wrist was getting sore, so needed help to get the tyre back on. Then back for a quick coffee at good brothers as someone had reserved all the outdoor tables into a big line at sfoglia.

a fairly quick lap of the ridges. last night rain had dampened the dust down a bit so was nice riding. nearly over-cooked it a couple of times.

Bruce ridge with gary and lance. Almost counts as a long run for me at the moment!

bilbys ints, luckily the cool breeze started up at about 6.30 so it wasn't massively hot. Started off on the 1km reps seeing how far I could get, the answer was 4 which I was happy with. A bit better than last week, think the kinvaras are quite hard on my feet though so might go back to using the inov8 190s for ints.

Decided to give the long run a crack for the first time in a while. A lot of foot tape seemed to keep things ok in the plantar fasciitis department although still feeling a bit sore in the legs from not doing much running. Started with ecmo running round the base of ainslie. We got overtaken by a group including bryce and bricacek who were probably taking it easy but were still a lot faster than we were going. Ecmo turned off on the climb up ainslie so I had a solo plod to the top. As I was about to head down, grantm turned up so ran down with him and over hackett hill, we had planned on going up to the majura saddle but there was a high level of cbf so we headed back to the cars to wait for marymac who had run for 2 hours. Very pleasant breakfast at sfoglia where all the orders came as specified, had eggs benedict which hit the spot nicely.
