shoes: Hoka one one stinson trail
Set off from the visitor centre just before 7am with a fairly full pack, the vague plan was tennent then boroomba rocks and 4 - 5 hours running. Went OK up the tennent climb but was climbing quite slowly on the summit pinch, didn't linger on top as it was still cold and headed down the AAWT onto bush ford flat, the best bit of the run was along here and up to the booroomba carpark. Then I went up the rocks but walked some of the steps and stopped on top for a snack as it was a bit warmer up there. I'd been going for 2h20 so decided to retrace my steps, passing a few other runners looking like they were doing tnf training. Very slow descent where I was in danger of getting chicked by one of many girls in pink tops out on the mountain. Had a chat with her back at the carpark - she was also out doing tnf training.
Good to get a long run - but hope the low speed was from tired legs
