Majura one peak race - kv offered me a lift to this so I decided to go and see how I went, plus there's a bottle of wine for everyone at the end. We arrived just as the 20k race was setting off, which looked like it had a big field, not so many in the 12k though. At the start stu doyle disappeared off the front and I was back with lou on the first climb. I went ok up the hill, but then dropped quite a few places on the descent being extra careful not to fall over. My plan not to get chicked went out of the window here with lou flying past and being out of sight by the time we were over hackett hill. I felt good along the hackett houses track and climbed well to the saddle, but then the last few km to the finish were a bit of a drag.
Enjoyed the race, but there's plenty of work to do to get back to some form. Was good to see acejase, robw and swissmiss there doing the 20km plus a load of actrun people. Wilburs after for toast and coffee and stories from gramps about the brindabella classic.

Bilbys ints, 8x 600m. Most of the time was running with RobJ, was good to have a pacemaker. Was splitting at 2.24 until the last one which blew out to 2.28. Legs a bit heavy, also at my record high weight at the moment which doesn't help. Still a good session though.

Bilbys returns to Dickson for the summer so it's a classic bilbys warmup. Plenty of people there with the novice program underway and a warm evening.
