Thursday bilbys with a good group of guy, kylie, nan, jodie and two new random girls (probably last years novices). Jodie got us all organised for a single track interval up to the top of O'connor ridge. We did them for 30mins which was enough for 7 reps for me. Slowed a bit towards the end but was pleased with the intensity of the session, one of the best since I got back running......although it's a bit of a case of enjoy while I can as I'm back under the knife again on Tuesday for the first installment of metalwork removal and scraping the bone end to smooth it out a bit

Back to the carpark warm down - made the mistake of running with kylie who does the warm down at close to interval pace, needless to say we dropped the rest of the group on the first hill.

Red hill summer series, short orange course on a map that was half missing as a training exercise. Went ok, apart from 8 which I went well past after not going through the blank area on compass and then dropping off the track a bit early. Definitely a bit more challenging than usual and good to be thinking while running at low speed.
