Drove out to Fairholmes and took Mattie for a run in the buggie along the road and back. Worked really well and nice to have a solution that allows me to get a run in during the day :-)

Circuits with the NCT mums in Bole Hill. No rain this week so a bit longer session, did 6 sets of CaCABCaLS so 42 mins circuits plus had to run there with the buggy as late, that is one big hill!

Lovely to get out for a run on my own on such a nice day. Alex dropped me at Wyming brook and ran conduit, reservoirs and back to mum and dads (who are away) then tagged over to alex who ran the same loop backwards and on to home.

Short sharp session whilst alex played with and bathed Mattie. Two efforts along Langsett (Tesco to Barracks 7.13 and back 6.51) with 30s in between, then an effort up Upperthorpe to home (3.39). Tough and so out of shape but felt good to run a bit harder.
I used to do the hill in less than 3 so a fair way to go!

Orienteering on Loxley. Messed up number 1 (pretty sure i've made the same mistake there before - poor form) but clean other than that. Enjoyed bits of it. The slope is just thigh high brambles and nettles and not fun at all. Made the mistake of reading the map whilst walking and fell flat on my face in a bramble patch. ouch. Nice to get out though :-)
