Running (E1) 41:46 [2]
shoes: Asics trabuco

down rivelin, along to the road and back up through the stables. nice morning run :) got a bit scared when a car mounted the pavement behind me and honked, turned out it was alex on his way home from work.. so had to race the last 200m home to try beat him back.
its hard to do an easy run on this loop due to the bloomin big hill in the middle
RPE: 3

Note

had my ears sorted out at the clinic so hopefully no more duck noises and dizzyness... :)

Orienteering 28:30 intensity: (5:00 @2) + (23:30 @4)
shoes: NB 1062

prologue round the Edge. tricky and lots of fun :) ran reasonably hard but not too hard as no real warm up before due to alex sleeping in!
RPE: 6

Orienteering (SYO sprint 1) 15:56 [4]
shoes: Walshes

crazy course round weston park, really good fun. took a while to get used to pin punching and the novelty of queuing at controls to punch!
RPE: 7

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Running intervals (track) 43:00 intensity: (13:00 @2) + (6:00 @3) + (24:00 @5)
shoes: NB 1062

decided to risk it and go to track and see how i felt.
3 laps warm up plus drill and strides then
8 x 400m off 3 mins so approx 1:1 run:recovery. started off jogging 200m in the recovery but ended up cutting the corner a bit by the end
85,87,84,87,90,85,86,85
times are a bit varied but think it was partly due to the wind not just me being useless.
ears felt fine for the first 6 but right one hurting a bit on the last 2
3 laps warm down

ears worse now (couple of hours after) definately need to get them sorted out before the weekend. but at least i could run today without feeling dizzy :)
RPE: 8

Note
(rest day)

alex took me to the ENT room to try sort my ears out this morning, eustachian tubes are a bit swollen (prob due to hay fever) but main problem is big solid bit of gunk totally blocking left ear. nice. it didn't want to come out so have some drops now to try loosen it. hopefully when that goes the slight swelling of tubes won't be a problem.
alex thinks this is why i'm going deaf and don't listen to him much!
seeing as i go dizzy everytime i stand up i'm going to have to have a rest day.
