Orienteering (KM relay) 40:00 [5]

2nd leg. really fun race on a map that was pretty much all a marsh. made a few mistakes and lost 4 mins in total which was frustrating. one bad route choice and struggled at times to work out what was/wasn't a marsh. needed to be better on my compass and better in the circle and to stop thinking about running fast. dammit.

mmmmmmmm i love norway terrain :)
can't believe i haven't been in norway for 13 (?) years...
made one big routechoice error/mistake today and a couple of small errors losing about 5 mins in total. took me the first half of the course to remember how to run in norwegian terrain and after that it was great. looking forward to next years woc already!

off the plane and straight to the race to find i'd already missed my start time! not a problem though and enjoyed the run, pretty nice forest for the first half and good to get the legs moving a bit after a full day travelling
