Drove down to Curbur to take Amanda to the orienteering and chat with some SYO people, then jumped on my bike for a loop past Hassop, Monsal Head, Bradwell, Hathersage. After waiting at the lights by the Marquis a cyclist in Welwyn kit came past me. I sat on his wheel for a bit then he pulled out for me to take the lead so I figured I better. After Hathersage we chatted the rest of the way back to Curbur. Turns out he is doing the 100 Hills to ride on your bike from a book he got. Going to have to look it up... Nice to have some company and pushed me a bit harder up one of the hills on the way back than I probably would have gone otherwise :-)

short run with Amanda from Wyming brook down to the Headstone and back via the resevoir (almost). Easy pace and lots of chat, nice to catch up :-) Hip flexor started hurting after about half way. It doesn't seem to like up hill. Need to do some work on it. WIll head out on the bike tomorrow instead...

Disappointingly the hip flexor that was hurting before Christmas started hurting after only about 10 minutes.
