Warming up and trying to keep warm on the way back to the car. Tata Steel own a very long, thin piece of hard standing! Watch fail today (in that I left it at home. oops).

Black course at Wharncliffe. Ace technical woodland and the bracken/brambles were about as good as they're going to get given how much there is. Really enjoyed the course, despite the rain/wind combo on the open moorland! Alex caught me quite early on, then I got away, then he caught and passed me, then I caught back up and got away on a route choice but then in the end he retired as he wasn't feeling good. Good game of cat and mouse for a bit though. Lucky I can run through rocks really as that's when I got my time back! Made a few mistakes, mainly due to losing concentration and not having a good enough plan. Mostly good though :-D

Hangover curing Rivelin loop. Thought about doing the parkrun when I woke up at 7, but to be honest it was only a very brief thought before I remembered I'd been in bed less than 4 hours, drank some water and went back to sleep :-) Nice loop and actually felt quite good which was pleasing! Legs a bit tired from all the dancing though...
More dancing tonight too :-D
