Soul Therapy :-D

What a gorgeous day. Parked by Flynn rink and ran the rock circuit trail with a deviation to go and see cascade falls. So so nice to be out running in the sunshine and in only one thermal and jacket! The falls are partly frozen and just beautiful and the trail has stunning views over the cities. The trail lived up to its name and the first 75% was very rocky, it basically takes in every rocky outcrop possible. My legs were feeling yesterdays press class and were tiring on the rock steps part way! The last bit was easier running and it was nice to open up on the way back to the car. Lovely morning out. This is what daycare days should be used for :-D

Running 13:30 [3] 1.9 km (7:06 / km)

Pilates (Core class) 15:00 [2]

Strength & Conditioning (Press class) 45:00 [3]

So much work with the body including a lot of lunges of various types. My hip flexors are super tight still but hopefully this was good for them. The instructor for this class is great and I really enjoy it.

Running (Treadmill) 35:00 [3] 4.0 mi (8:45 / mi)

Hike cancelled due to rain so managed to get a one hour slot in kids club. Got to try out my new shoes too. A slight bit of discomfort but way better than the inov8s. Hopefully these will bed in a bit...
