Pretty much caught Brent after the first control. Then ran together for a bit until I lead him astray then lost my place and got a bit lost. Caught back up to Brent in the mysterious bit and then Martin Peat on the home straight. Spotted Aaron too right at the very end, but stupidly took another route to the finish as Aaron was a bit slow going through some branches... but he smashed me to the finish in the end. Pretty much not my best effort on the orienteering today.... Had some patches of brilliance, but not enough to cancel out the woefulness everywhere else...

Destroyed by Nick on the Mountain bike. Very cool tracks in the teetotal area. super cool forest, cant believe its not mapped for orienteering, much nicer than the manuka scrub

Weedcatchers in the AR Duo with Stru. Got dealt to good and proper... Isla, Sophie and a raft of others just smashed us.... well Sophie was smashing just about everyone. Stru was feeling the pains of not much paddling lately...and it felt like there was a bit of dead weight in the back everynow and then!
