Race 3:44:00 [4]

RTh with Storm and Bent. Amazingly it was the first time we actually lined up together to do a race.

The race had lots of cps 50 but the nav looked straight forward so it would be important to follow direction and keep the dumb mistakes at a minimum. As usual the race started too fast as we wanted to keep pace with the lead teams but were able to with good team work and minimal mistakes.

The nav was not too difficult however the terrain made up for it with lots of vertical and technical trail running. We were able to stay with the lead teams for most of the race but lost contact after some confusion on a PC that really wasn't one.

We ended up running alone after that point until we saw another all male team catch up to us in walk the line. Great, a sprint finish. We ended running for our lives for the last 20 min to hold them off by a couple minutes

Nav was rusty but didn't cause to much time lost and for the most part was another solid race. Storm was firing on all cylinders and had a very strong race and Ricardo did great job keeping up the pace and sucking it up at the end, and in his words was glad he didn't black out at the end lol. Although Bent may not feel this way right after this race but it amazes me how he can maintain his shape and do these races at top speed and keep up with the sports best. I say this because he mentioned he wil be turning 55 next week....wow
