Saturday Dec 13, 2008 #

Running 1:24:45 [3] 10.5 mi (8:04 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus

Battlefield run, still feeling a little tired from last weekend but went fairly smoothly except on the uphills :-( . Steady pace and quite cool with early start (730) meant that despite all the rain this week everything was still locked up and frozen so not very muddy at all. If it had been warmer I would have had to break out the Vasques!

Friday Dec 12, 2008 #

Running 30:45 [3] 4.0 mi (7:41 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Trance 8

An easy run plus stretching afterwards, new socks seem to have eased the problem of sore bottoms of heels, but it was quite a short run.

Thursday Dec 11, 2008 #

shoes: Brooks Trance 8

Wednesday Dec 10, 2008 #

Running 45:30 [3] 6.0 mi (7:35 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Trance 8

Easy run with some strides thrown in, seem to be getting close to recovered from Sunday's race. Bottom of heels getting sore towards ends of run from sliding around on the orthotics.

Monday Dec 8, 2008 #

Running 38:24 [3] 5.0 mi (7:41 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Trance 8

Easy recovery run after yesterday's final race of EX2 season. Felt OK and will continue recovery run tomorrow with a possible interval session on Wednesday. Back into Winter training with next running race not until around New Years Day (maybe a 5k or 10k). Will sit down and plan out training schedule over next few days, in particular when to do the speedwork.
