OKS ultra long club champs

Assembly area was at Hellas club house so I'd been looking forward to running in granby/paradiset for a few weeks, but heard the day before we will actually be across the road on ågesta for some of the course. Thought that sounded weird because that ment a couple of kms along a road/cycle path between the two forests ... Turned out the whole race was in ågesta. It's a nice forest but not exactly what I had bee looking forward to.

Anyway after plenty of strange things with the organising, feeling tired last few days and not much sleep Saturday night I wasn't really feeling up for this, especially after the start was delayed 25min without telling anyone so we was just stood around waiting in the cold haha.
Anyhow i thought it would be a nice chance to run longer session where I could run with people.

We had another strange experience at the start. It was a mass start with a punching start after the maps was handed out. Cat was very concerned about this all morning, understanding that you could potentially be the first to finish but still not win if someone had a faster SI time by punching later at the start. So it was really funny to see her face when the organiser shouted lady's first at the start haha. This actually help me miss number one because of laughing and taking the piss. Anyway the group disappeared and I ran pretty much the whole course by myself.

There was actually a point toward no19 where I was closing on a few people, but no19 was a BBQ control so I stopped for a hotdog, warm juice and had a quick chat to Johan and Palle. So I didn't end up catching the group.

Strange day
