Run -- Road/Grass 10:00 [2]

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

Stockholm Indoor Cup @ Fredrik Bremer

Really fun!!
First time doing an indoor race and thought I had an idea of what it would be like but it was loads crazier!! In the beginning I was confuse by thin black lines wer doors then I would get to the door and It would have a sign on it saying "stop" and OOB tape all over it! Loads of additional fences too. The second building had different music in each part of the building, 10mila commentary in one room, disco storage room, a few wired projected Japanese cartoons and one room had a live size model of a bloke in a bed that made me jump!!

Lots of stood still confused looking for a route that actually worked! Funny to see people using the tables and chairs to sit down and plan their routes haha.

At the end there was a spectator run though where you need to dive and crawl under a thick curtain to the next room, follow by a mazeO

Loads of fun!!

I was quite unsuccessful but loved it. The students I coach was the organisers and was helping with jobs thoughout the schools and I got loads of cheers of "Go Josh" "Faster" or something similarly positive and motivating, but I was usually stood still trying to plan a route or confused by a passage that doesn't work, so unfortunately it was much help haha!!!

still have this tune in my head after running into the amphitheatre and see in huge 4-5meter Gandalf nodding down at me

Orienteering Night 1:16:00 [3]

Club Night session in mortsjön

Good session, had to draw on the map your key features before the session. so basically a simplification training but a good reminder to not over orienteer

feeling pretty tired after an hour, trying to take it easy

Not orienteering great but quite happy.
Not good direction out of no2
not enough checking direction up the hill to no8 = wrong reenterant
Tried to not read too much into no9 (lesson learnt there)

Some good compass work though (thats good because I havent been feeling as confident in my compass as I want to)
