Oslo DM relay 1st leg

Set off hard to try get a high position to get dragged along for a few controls. Worked well up until no7 where I felt really tired and struggled to hang on. Cherry was really aggressive here and the group I got with and he just strung it out over the open areas.
Really struggling to concentrate and felt I was just about surviving until going down to no10 when I was thinking about all sorts of stuff apart from orienteering!! Thought I was one valley further so was looking for the control in totally the wrong place, decided to bail out south to the big marsh but ended up looking at some crags and though "No way, I cant be all the way over there" but I was hahah

from here to the finish it felt again that I was just about holding it together but no very forward thinking.

Øsfold district champs

Not great in the begining but started to build confidence after the two easy controls (5 and 6)

More compass needed on the first 3 controls, hesitant and a bit worried not knowing what features will look like.

Note

Felt ok this morning but after a busy day started to feel grotty with head ache and low energy so sacked it off.
a bit annoyed because I could have trained earlier in the morning when i felt ok but saved it to run club training in the evening
