Hok Long (SM 2018 Long distance terrain)

Felt shite the last couple of days so haven't trained. This morning and warming up still didn't feel up for this, but Louise said "just race to no5 and see how you feel from there". This was a good plan, but I was shite in these first 5. I couldn't get up to race pace and I was distracted/over thinking everything.
Got to no5 and was disappointed with how I had been orienteering but still enjoyed the quality terrain, so I stood for a few seconds and made a new plan to really get hold of the orienteering for the next 5 controls then make a new goal for the last few controls

Goal from 10 to finish = survive!

Overall disappointed with this race. But first race of the pre season is suppose to be about learning.

Went to spectator Louise + IKHP at the 10km race.
but when Louise turned up at 3km 20sec faster than she planned and told me it was tough, I thought Id jump in and help pace for a bit but felt ok so stayed in until the end
