I ran a training course at Rockcrusher. I made an effort to pick routes that were largely in the woods. That was good, but also a bit more work than a regular course at Rockcrusher.
There was still a bit of snow on the ground. A light drizzle fell the entire run. The temp was around 40F. So the snow was slushy. Without neoprene socks, my feet would have frozen.
My orienteering was mostly ok. I had a bit of slop on one leg after I'd been out about 55 minutes.
I think Matt was running the south shore trails. I spotted a parked car that looked like his. I saw two sets of fresh running shoe tracks.
There were a bunch of eagles on the ice along the dam. I counted 8 on the way out.
