orienteering 1:20:00 [2] ***

Control picking at Knob Noster.

Ran very well for about an hour then got myself lost, sort of. I went toward a reentrant, then became unsure. I didn't have controls out, so I wasn't sure I was in the right spot because the map didn't seem to fit. I convinced myself I was in the wrong reentrant and went to relocate. I made a parallel error relocating, then had troulble relocating again. Once I finally figured out where I was, it turned out I'd been in the right place when I first felt unsure. So, it wasn't exactly a mistake, but it felt like a lot of time running around not knowing where I was.

As always, Knob Noster is fun.

Thursday Mar 15

running 1:05:00 [2]
Trails at Wyandotte. I carried the map but hardly glanced at it.
running 10:00 [4]
10 minutes at an honest effort. It felt pretty good, but I can tell my sense of pace is off.

Wednesday Mar 14

cycling 30:00 [3]
Sweating like crazy on the trainer in the basement.

Strange stuff is going on at City Hall these days....fortunately, I'm keeping it together because I'm NOT
The Worrying Kind
.

Tuesday Mar 13

orienteering 20:00 [2]
A short line O' at Wyandotte. Concentrating very well.
running 1:00:00 [2]
Jogging on the trails at Wyandotte. Weather was what most people would consider very nice (i.e. low 70s). I miss colder temps.

I threw in 2 x 3 x short sprints. I'm not sure anyone who saw me would have called them sprints, but it felt like I was going about as fast as I could.

Slow, hilly run to pick up controls at Bluffwoods. Fun. Each time I run at Bluffwoods it seems like the hills are getting bigger.
