Saturday Oct 6

running 15:00 [1]
Easy jogging to warm up.
orienteering race 40:00 [3] ***

PTOC at SMP. I started the red course and within the first couple of controls started having some breathing problems. I guess it is allergies. I cut the course short and DNF'd.

Thursday Oct 4

running 45:00 [2]
Easy jogging at PNS.

Not sleeping well the last few nights. Maybe that is why I felt so lethargic?

Tuesday Oct 2

running 30:00 [2]
Jogging at PNS. The afternoon's rain left some of the trails a bit muddy. I picked up enough mud on my shoes that they felt heavy.
running 10:00 [4]
3 x Old Man Intervals. Felt slow.

Monday Oct 1

cycling 30:00 [1]
A little bit of time on the trainer.

Sunday Sep 30

running 1:30:00 [2]
We went to Woodridge to check out the area as a possible day-before-the-Trot venue. The map aged pretty well. I think it'll work for the race.

Mary ran a course Ken Walker set. I just explored the area (mostly on the trails) to decide if I thought the map was ok.

Warm and windy.
