Friday Aug 15

running 20:00 [2]
20 minutes was enough on a hotel treadmill.

Thursday Aug 14

running 20:00 [2]
I jogged around the PHHS cross country trail (basically just mowed grass around soccer and softball fields). My legs felt good.
other 20:00 [2]
row, row, row...stop.

Wednesday Aug 13

Note
Mowing day.

Tuesday Aug 12

running 35:00
I ran on the river trail and did 2 x 2 x 400 meters with 1 minute rests. I felt pretty good - probably because of the comfortable temperature.

Monday Aug 11

other 15:00 [2]
Enough to break a sweat but not much more.

I spent some time wandering around on city streets today (at work). I could probably log some of that as hiking. Nah.

Sunday Aug 10

running 1:00:00
On the trails at PNS before it got hot. In fact, the temperature didn't feel bad at all.

I ran 4 x the White Squirrel hill, but took it a bit easier than usual. Usually, I push a bit and feel like I need to stop and catch my breath for 15-20 seconds when I reach the top. Today I kept the effort a bit lower than that and just turned around at the top (except for the last time up when I stopped and drank a bit of water).
other 35:00 [2]
Rowing while watching rowing. I brought the laptop down and fired up the nbcolympics.com coverage of today's rowing.

In other Olympic watching, I saw badminton, trap shooting, archery, field hockey, basektball, volleyball, beach volleyball, cycling...and now I've got gymnastics on in the background.
