orienteering 1:00:00 [2] ***
5c
Mary and I went to Kill Creek. I ran a course with some longish legs that offered plenty of chances to run trails. The trails were in better shape that I'd expected. A few places were muddy. I hope the conditions were good for PsychoWyCo. I'd think the trails at WyCo would have been in pretty good shape.
Packing the rest of the afternoon. Early flight tomorrow a.m.
running 1:35:00 [2]
On the trails at Clinton SP with a map (contours and trails only) in hand. Read it off and on, but not enough to consider it orienteering training.
Easy pace.
My right knee felt fine today (and yesterday). It'd been a bit strange feeling since the GAOC meet, but the very easy week seems to have cured whatever it was that was bother it.
I actually finished in 1:25. But, Mary was nowhere to be seen. I thought she would be finished before me. I got a bit worried because it was cold and a bit wet and I expected her to be done. So, I back tracked a bit to see if I could find her. Turns out she ran an bit extra at the end and was still running when I expected her to be done (which is also because she started running later than I'd expected).
