orienteering race 1:14:34 [4] ***

Night O' champs (M45) at Cuivre River. Fun despite more thorns that I'd like. And I wish the map had shown the vegetation better on the route to the last control.

I struggled physically but managed the orienteering pretty well.

Trouble sleeping last night.

Work commute.

Going to bed before 9 p.m. and then organizing for the weekend in the morning.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute, including biking through the drive-thru flu shots for city employees. Cool and rainy for the trip to work.

Long work day with the SWTF.

I ran a short night O' practice at Clinton. I was working on a few things and made some progress. Warm - 70F - when I was running. It feels weird to run night orienteering when it is warm.

An easy test run of my draft course for Geography Awareness Week. I changed the location of couple of controls and found a few places I need to tweak the map.

After the run, I spent an hour or so making map corrections (with a short break to chat with Damon Mar who was biking at Wescoe).

running 25:00 [2]

Easy jogging on the trails at "Nature Park." I carried the base map and looked at it quite a bit.

The idea of this run was to see how I'd feel to help decide if I'd go to SMP for tonight's PTOC night O' practice. I didn't feel great, but good enough that I plan to make the trip over to SMP this evening.

Mary seems to have caught the cold that I had. Sorry.

PTOC night O' practice at SMP. Fun course even if some of the woods were a bit junky and my health isn't what it should be.
