running 1:15:00 [2]

I jogged around with the map at Clinton Overlook. I checked out a few spots that Blair and Fritz are using for the next event. I made some notes about a few map tweaks. The woods are junky, but not as junky as I'd expected.

I ran in my black O' pants. Before I went out, I made a few changes to make them fit a little better. I think the changes are good. I stitched them so if the changes didn't work I could rip the seams and start over. But, the changes are good and I'll get the serger going and finish them up later tonight.

Running was a nice distraction from the behaviour of the president.

Edit: I wish I was a better writer and could come up with a good way to explain just how awful today has been. I can't find the words.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute and nothing more.

cycling 45:00 [1]

The usual work commute.

running 30:00 [2]

Half headlamp run on West Campus (i.e. I only needed the light for about half of the run).

I ran a bit hard to make the light at Lawrence and Clinton Parkway and running hard felt good. That was fun.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute. They've made some sort of change to the street at Naismith and Crescent road. It makes it harder to a bike to get through the intersection. I wonder if it is permanent.

rowing 20:00 [1]

Row, row.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Work commute. A comfortable low 30s for the trip to the office and a too-warm 59F for the trip home.

running 30:00 [2]

Shuffled around on West Campus. The days are getting longer and I didn't turn on my headlamp until the last 10 minutes or so.

Note

No running. No biking. I drove to work so that I could drive over to the JoCo Internal Audit Office for a visit. Fun. After the visit, I dropped by REI.

Note

No running today. Instead, I worked the OK race at Rockhaven. Eric S set the courses. We had a reasonable turnout (36 starts with maybe 50 people).

Mary saved the day yesterday. She tracked down Samantha from the Corps Office and I was able to meet Samantha and get the key to the campground gate. That was a big help. Note - don't forget to get the key during the week before the next Rockhaven event.
