running 15:00 [2]

Visited Bent's Old Fort. I remember it from visiting ~40 years ago with Dad and Stephen. There are a few trails around a marsh and next to the river. I jogged the trails with stops to read some of the historical info.

My other physical activity for the day was reaching the summit of Mount Sunflower.

orienteering 1:30:00 [3]

Orienteering training on a KP map of Kanopolis. I found a couple of the markers that are still outfrom an adventure race a few weeks ago

I moved slowly. It was sunny and hot (upper 80s).

MTB cycling 50:00 [1]

Rolled around on the roads on my MTB. It was much more pleasant than yesterday - low humidity. Lots of people were out enjoying the evening. I saw 7 people on KU bike share bikes.

running 20:00 [2]

When I got home, I mowed the yard. It was hot and humid.

I'd heard from Cristina-bot that I'd better get training (and needed 14 minutes). So I shuffled around on West Campus.

I missed Swampfox's big birthday, but I figured I'd celebrate today. So I mowed and ran in my brown and gold t-shirt. And, I've got a pizza in the oven.

And just a random thought...brown and gold is a strange color combination. Is my memory right that HVO used to have brown and yellow O' gear? That's what I seem to remember from the mid 1980s.

MTB cycling 45:00 [1]

MTB on pavement. Another warm and humid day.

A thunderstorm just came through and that was nice.

running 45:00 [2]

I shuffled around on West Campus. It was muggy, feels like it might storm any minute. I felt lousy in the beginning, but then felt a bit better as time went by.

I saw a few people out on the KU bike share bikes on West Campus. That was cool.
