running 1:30:00 [2]

Snow! I shuffled around in about 2-3 inches of snow (with more falling) on West Campus. I took frequent walk breaks. West Campus is nice in the snow. Actually, it is nice year round, but the snow makes things look better.

I hadn't been to Ulrik's Hill in a while. They've blocked off the road with concrete barriers.

As I was running, I was day dreaming about the old days (before the bush honeysuckle) when you could actually run in the woods. The woods were thick and junky, but you could get through. You can't really do that anymore.

Snow shoveling. I'll need to shovel again. Maybe later today or maybe I'll wait till tomorrow morning.

other 20:00 [1]

Snow has stopped, so I did another shoveling session. The forecast seems to call for more snow tomorrow morning.

Ft Leavenworth Adventure Tinsel 20 score orienteering. Fun. Chilly and a bit of a north wind. Connie used xmas decorations around the post for about half of the markers.

Hot chocolate and cookies at the finish were nice.

Running ok, but I was a little lazy.

A low headlamp run on the trails on West Campus. Fun.

I expected to feel great after two days with no exercise, but the first 20 minutes felt like a chore. Then things felt better.

Nice evening - cool, no wind, nice full moon.

Note

Spent some time grading final papers. There are still two students who haven't yet submitted their final papers (deadline is midnight tonight).
