Day off from running and/or biking. I didn't even mow the lawn.
But, high intensity bean eating. I made black bean burgers. This was my third attempt and the best, by far. I've been tweaking the preparation a bit each time and nailed it.
I got out the door by 7:30. That was good. I shuffled around with my Lawrence map in hand. I was on the KU campus most of the time.
Lots of people were out walking or jogging on the main campus. Lots = more than last weekend.
I kept the pace easy and took plenty of short walk breaks. I felt ok for about 40 minutes, then I started feeling worn out. Maybe I was a bit dehydrated? The last 30 minutes was a slog. Temp was 82F at the end with dewpoint in the mid 70s. It felt worse than that.
