I'm ready for summer to be over. Hot today. I'd planned to jog but just couldn't get mentally ready to deal with the temp. So I biked a bit instead. I went through campus (classes started yesterday). Lots of masked students. That was good to see.

I forgot to note that we had beans with last night (Mary cooked a fish stew) and we are having beans tonight (I'm baking some beans and cheese and broccoli).
MTB on roads, levee and single track. I hit the sweet spot for the river trails. It was late enough that spider webs were down and the early morning runners were off the trail. But it was early enough that the bike riders weren't yet up and on the trails. I saw a couple of runners and 3 bikers.
Cool video from the 1963 Swedish Champs. If you can't understand the Swedish it is still interesting to see the runners in the terrain. If you can understand Swedish, the discussion of the map (first time with 1:25K) is interesting:
I rolled around on the pavement. I went through campus. Many students are back in town. Many of the people walking around on campus were keeping distance and wearing masks. I rolled by a frat house and the kids out front we loud and obnoxious, but seemed to be keeping their distance. It'll be interesting to see the situation in another month or so.
