I took my MTB out on the pavement of West Campus. I had an old course on the map board and went to all of the controls, but it was so unconcentrated and casual that it wouldn't count as MTBO.
They're starting construction on a new building. It takes away some of the forest where my first-ever orienteering course went. It also takes away a little trail I've used all winter.
Mike Shifman designed a course for practice at the Lawrence riverfront park. The map is still a work in progress. I warmed up to the first control and then picked up the effort. Around 40 minutes I was tired.

After I finished I jogged around a bit to look at one or two things. Then I went back to the next to last control and waited to see Mary arrive. I followed her along to the last control, too.
