Orienteering (Woods) 34:00 [2]***
Picked up the model event controls at Emmenegger (1:10).
Orienteering (Woods) 20:44 [4]*** 2.5 km (8:18 / km) +95m 6:58 / km

When I got back to the car I only had 12 contols. Figuring I'd probably have to run most of the course to find where I dropped them, I decided to try to post a decent time on the test loop.

Test Loop - Splits

Saturday Apr 16

Event: US Intercollegiates and Forest Park A-meet

Orienteering (Park) 1:53:00 [2]**
Hanging controls for the relay at Forest Park (1:10).

Friday Apr 15

Orienteering (Woods) 51:00 [2]***
Setting the model event at Emmenegger (1:10).
Orienteering (Park) 1:29:00 [2]**
Putting out the stakes at Forest Park (1:10). I'll wait until tomorrow morning to hang the bags (which will increase the chances they'll be there when the competitors show up).

Thursday Apr 14

Orienteering (Woods) 1:00:00 [4]***
Things seem to be under control for the meet so I figured I'd go to Rockwoods and play a bit. After all, how often do you have 50 advanced controls hung on a good map? Ran for about an hour at close to race pace before the heat and last weekend caught up to me.
Orienteering 1:23:00 [2]***
Backed off and ran around for a bit more.

Wednesday Apr 13

Running 35:00 [2]
Another really easy day at lunch with Rusty and Jeff.

Tuesday Apr 12

Running (Road) 35:00 [2]
Lunchtime jog with Rusty and Jeff. Rusty just ran a 1/2 marathon and Jeff is tapering for River to River this weekend so we went realy slow, which was just fine with me.
