SLOC Meremac
Running (Grass) 30:00 [2]

With 5% climb and an uphill leg right off the start, I decided to do a proper warmup for a change.

SLOC meet at Meremac (1:15). Almost qualifies as a "5" effort, but I don't think the recovery will be quite as bad as a running race. Very fast woods and a whole bunch of climb made this a real fitness test. That's good for me since my fitness is definitely better than my nav right now. Still, was clean enough to take seven minutes out of David to take the lead in the death match 3-2. See splits for details. Map.

Cycling (Road) 3:32:00 [2]

Left my shoes at Cliff Cave yesterday, so I rode over to get them. It was much colder than I realized - I dressed for mid 40's, but it was really low 30's. Feeling cold the whole ride made an otherwise OK route not much fun.

Thursday Nov 9

Running (Mix) 48:00 [2]

Set out to do the powerline loop with Jeff at lunch. Got about a mile into it and realized that I needed another recovery day so we did the short version and then Jeff ran a few more miles on his own.

Tuesday Nov 7

Running (Road) 36:00 [2]
Another easy recovery run at lunch, this time with Brian.

Running (Road) 36:00 [2]

Super easy recovery run with Jeff. Left knee and right achilles are a little tender.
