Running (Road) 1:35:00 [2]
shoes: Lyte33 2

In to work. Warm enough (35F) at the start that I thought about riding in to give the legs a break. They were fine, though. Pace was easy, but normal base miles easy, not dead legs plodding easy. Felt good enough to take a longer route through Green Trails and Conway to get some shelter from a rather stiff breeze preceding the cold front. Temp had dropped 10 degrees by the time I got to work.

Home from work at a fairly decent clip as the stiffness from yesterday hasn't set in yet. Tomorrow morning's run in will likely be a much different thing.

95:00M at Queeny. Or, at least, it felt like m-pace. Kinda hard to judge after such a huge temperature change. Once over the shock of the first really cold weather since last winter, it was actually very nice running.

FFRC. Rain started at halfway, but it wasn't hard enough to be uncomfortable. Was turning to snow by the end.

Wore the trail shoes in case it was slick. Turned out to be unnecessary.

Two School Barefoot Loop. Was going to take the day off completely, but it looks like barefoot running this weekend is not a happening deal.

3x2T 2:00R on the way in to work. Four would have been better, but these are starting to look like legit Marathon Q workouts. Two more weeks till classes start and I can probably keep good training going for about 3 weeks into the semester. Time will tell if that's enough.

Home via CC Lake. Well, almost. Got stopped by floodwaters just 50m shy of the bike path and had to turn around. That made me late for a meeting at church so the last 40 minutes were close to m-pace. Not rating it as a 3 because it really was junk miles but, as I was already heading for recovery after this mornings Q run, no damage done.
