* I was feeling pretty good about moving the weight up on most of my exercises. Then one of the women from the softball team came along and went through the same set of machines, adding a couple plates to everything I did. I'd say I bet I can run 100 miles faster than her, but that's not really a sure thing right at the moment.

To that end, last quality workout before Rocky. 4x9:00T 1:00R. Just a hair more intensity than last time to make sure it was solid tempo. Legs is still not great but, if I don't do anything too stupid in the next four days, I'd give it better than even odds of making it through 100 miles. It may well be really badly injured at the end of that, but I think it can do it.
