New School Loop backwards to the PNH track to warm up, then 1@6:56. Will be doing this several times over then next two weeks to dial in the pace. Followed by Wholehearted. Was afraid the trails would be wrecked from this morning's race, but I guess the race finished before they thawed because they were fine.
SCRC run. Wore trail shoes thinking the footing might be bad after last night's snow, but the roads were generally clear. Left calf is not happy about something; pain very high up near the back of the knee. Noticed it last night and it was worse this morning. Running made it feel better.
