Easy jog round the hood.

Terrain (Trail) 1:40:00 [2] ****

LPT at Forest-44. First half still had a fair bit of daylight (and heat), so I ran it at daytime 100 pace, walking all the hills and jogging everything else. Second half was with the big light, walking everything technical. As Beaumont and Forest-44 are very similar terrain (they are adjacent parks), my pace confirmed my expectation of loops (20-miles at Shippey) in just over 4 hours during the day and giving up another half hour at night. Might also need to slow down due to heat. So, a sub-24 seems reasonable, but not guaranteed.

Note
(rest day)

In the hospital most of the day getting various scans as part of a study I'm participating in. Then went out to dinner with friends. So, a rare complete day off.

On a somewhat related note, I appear to have done something very bad to one of the muscles in my neck. This isn't the usual "I slept on it wrong". It feels sort of like that, but it's made turning my head and sleeping on my side problematic for over a week. I probably need to get someone who knows about such things to look at it because it's showing little improvement.
