Lower Chubb from Lone Elk. Lots of debris, but runnable.

Saturday Sep 21 #

9 AM

Terrain (Trail) 1:50:00 [2] ***
shoes: MT690

Carol’s Fat Ass. Final edition of this run and it was more of a whimper than a bang. Not sure why people don’t attend my events (other than the obvious, that I don’t have many friends), but I had a good time and so, it seemed, did Tommy, Jen, Emily, and Erl.
8 PM

Orienteering race (Woods) 31:00 [3] **
22c shoes: Oroc 280

SLOC night-O at Kirkwood. Usual fun Maas start score. First overall.

Friday Sep 20 #

1 PM

Terrain (Trail ) 2:05:00 [2] ****
shoes: Lone Peak 3..0 Blue

At Lewis and Clark. Over two hours and over 90F, so I guess it’s nominally another long hot run. Nothing like Wednesday’s death march, though.

4 PM

Terrain (Mix) 2:15:00 [2] **

Home from work via Faust, Beckemeier, Powerline. Was getting a bit wobbly at the end. Last long, hot run of the year? We'll see.

Tuesday Sep 17 #

5 AM

Running (Road) 1:25:00 [2]
shoes: Excite 4

In to work. Feeling a lot better. 25 degree drop from yesterday afternoon probably has a lot to do with it.
6 PM

Running (Road) 45:00 [2]
shoes: Excite 4

SCRC. Another big surge by the leaders this week. Legs are still way off so I wasn't upset that the lead group split with me in the back half. Seems that running 40 miles with no sleep is a lot. Who knew?

Monday Sep 16 #

4 PM

Running (Road) 1:25:00 [2]
shoes: Contend 5

Home from work. Super hot. Dead legs. At first I thought I'd need to take walk breaks, but after a few miles I felt OK with running straight through.
