Terrain (Mix) 1:35:00 [2] ***

Bird on a Wire. Everything is a mess with the thaw, but it looks like we might get some mud in TX next weekend, so I slipped and slid through it. Don't worry, MTB'ers, I know how to run a wet trail without wrecking it.

Then 10X followed by 4 miles firm on roads as it was getting dark and I didn’t have a light.

Note
(rest day)

Travel day. Spent as much time with mom as I could before leaving, so another full off day.

Monday Jan 20 #

Terrain (Trail) 1:40:00 [2] ****
shoes: MT410

Spent the day with Mom & Anne again. Anne dropped me off in Danby and I ran the rest of the way back to the farm via Bald Hill. A couple inches of fresh snow, so I lost the trail (which isn't blazed) after a few miles. Fortunately, the woods are fairly open and the terrain is just one big 1000' ridge, so it wasn't hard to find my way there.
