Sunday Apr 30

Orienteering race 2:20:00 [3]
Running warm up/down 25:00 [1]
Technically better than yesterday but still too many mistakes. I have a few things to work on. Legs were tired from the start. Not the best weekend but despite the mentioned I wasn't that far behind so I that is something positive.

Saturday Apr 29

Event: US Short and Long Championships

Running 20:00 [1]
AM: morning run in Syracuse.
Orienteering race 45:00 [4]
PM: US short. Very disappointed. Errors on 13 out of 19 controls. Started already on the second (which was the first really) and I never got in to any rhythm. Legs not quite there.

The Rally. 15.29/10.59 - 26.28. New PB and that was a nice surprise, because it didn't feel like a PB run.

Saturday Apr 22

Orienteering 30:00 [4]
Running 35:00 [1]
Loop one of the 1986 World Cup. Tried the hardest I could but it was tough. However, I expected a "dip" a few days after I started train again so it is just to continue keep going. Impressive run by MrP.

Friday Apr 21

Running tempo 15:00 [4]
Running warm up/down 40:00 [1]
15 min "sprint tempo" run (1st half of the rally). Busy and long day at work so mind nor the legs were there. Upset stomach too...In any case, the time 15.20 is ok. (16.25 with the "pit stop").

Sunday Apr 2

Running warm up/down 40:00 [1]
Orienteering race 1:25:00 [4]
Felt very tired when I woke up and I am getting a bad cough. So I was surprised when the legs and lungs felt pretty good after a ten minutes in to the race. Three major mistakes, so it was obviously an awful race and I won't bore anyone who might read these with excuses/explanations. I know what I did and why and I'm not worried.

Clasic-Blue - Splits

Saturday Apr 1

Running warm up/down 45:00 [1]
Orienteering race 15:00 [4]
AM: Felt awful when I woke up but after some pills and whatnot I was ready to go. Legs were good, brain not. Run to 8 before 7, error, and 10 before 9, misread the course/map, and after I spiked 11th I didn't punch since I looked at the wrong control on the description. One of those days I guess. Still not miserable though because two of the things I did, happens perhaps once every 2nd year or so and I had the same pace as Hammer and Patrick when we compared splits.
Running warm up/down 15:00 [1]
Orienteering race 40:00 [4]
PM: Relay. Legs extremly tired. Ran with JT for the first half before it was forked, made perhaps 1,5 minute mistake. GHO won the relay!
