| Mon: spanst + distance - 0.25 + 0.20
Tue: intervals (12 2on/1off) stairs + wup/cdown - 0.45 + 0.35 Wed: distance 1.30 Thu: REST Fri: distance 1.30 Sat: OL (Thomass) + wup/cdown - 0.20 + 0.40 Sun: ATB + wup/cdown - 2.00 + 0.50 MIxed easy runs (Wed and Fri) with some hq stuff and then the bay. Twisted my ankle at the Thomass pretty badly. Had to stop, some Ibuprofen helped and eventhough I didn't feel as good as during the WR run previous week, the intervals Tuesday gave me the feeling that I'm in decent shape. I can't say I felt spectacular Sun but I opened up in a good pace and managed to keep it 38/39/40 min on the 10K. I was worried approaching North shore fearing another Chilly half or a 22.30 the last 5K like I did when I ran ATB a few years ago, but I kept it together really well, and I'm very happy with the race. 1.57.01 was the official time and 40th place. No gel, no drinking. I have to learn how to run and drink at the same time...Legs not too bad afterwards either. | ||
