Sunday Apr 15

Running tempo 15:00 [4]
Running intervals 10:00 [5]
Running 55:00 [1]
Legs have been sluggish the whole week, but I had already decided to have a tough workout today. My original plan was to first do a 3000m on the track and then a re-ran of the NAOC sprint. However, since they had fixed the hole in the fence - no track. Instead I did some stairs after the sprint. The sprint went ok, although I was 2 seconds behind my goal; to beat Mr. P's time. I did a few different route choices compared with the fall race and going from 9 to 10 to the left was 7 seconds faster! A quick look on Route Gadget showed no-one took that route at the NAOC...
Note
Training goal post Lia is 4.5 training session/week. Currently at 4.9. No point in having a certain number of hours as a goal since my training is on day-to-day basis. Can't complain so far though.
Interestingly enough, for the same time period last year my average was 4.7. However, I was sick a lot last spring and the number of hours was much higher.

Saturday Apr 14

Running 2:00:00 [2]
Long run with Paul, Tim and Tom. We ran around Cootes Paradise for a change, which was nice since I haven't done that for a very long time.
Despite not very much training this week, hamstrings and achilles are very tight. Could it be the biking (hamstring) and spanst (both) combined with age. Or is just age?

Thursday Apr 12

Running 25:00 [1]
Strength 15:00 [3]
Running intervals 5:00 [4]
Early run in Port Credit. Some reg spanst stuff and 5 x 30/30s. Both hamstrings are tight, couldn't really stretch out on the sprints.

Wednesday Apr 11

Indoor biking 30:00 [3]
Biking while watching War Child/Sum 41 documentary.

Tuesday Apr 10

Running intervals 25:00 [5]
Running 35:00 [1]
Intervals with Paul at Chedoke. 10 x 90-95/55-60 s. Ankle a bit sore today and sluggish legs. Nice day though and I am glad that Paul keeps coming out for the TNTs.

Monday Apr 9

Indoor biking 40:00 [2]
Biking while reading Da Vinci Code (am I the last one to read it? Although I have heard it "book-CD" or whatever it is called). Not that impressed just like 24 is bringing out one terrorist after the other, Da Vinci Code was just one code after the other.
