Orienteering race 4:15:00 [3]
GRR with the dudes.
Just like Dan, one of my longest runs ever although it did include some walking (around, and up and down the escarpment) and standing still (base map section).
The race this year felt less intense (somewhat slower pace) than last year's, but that may just be what it felt like since I was running sick last year.
Technically I also found the course generally easier this year but, for my part it was not a very good race even if I exclude the problems we had with Walk the Line, but it was a beautiful day and Mark/Mike had definitely put together a nice AR course.
+. Despite the uber-4 hour run, it felt like I could have continued for a bit longer if needed too.
Plantar fasciitis - didn't feel a thing.
As mentioned, weather, course, and dudes were great.
- Knee was ok during the run, albeit with the help of some painkillers. But knee is a concern.
Not including WTL - generally sloppy orienteering.
