Running race 1:40:00 [4]

Running 50:00 [1]

Dances with Dirt, Hell, MI.
Team finished 3rd out of 400 team. Everyone did well. I ran three legs.
4th - Poto. The longest, 9.8 km. All nice trail, mostly winding single track, and a lot of small hills the first half which made the running pretty intense, no time to relax and getting the long stride out. Last few km was pretty flat with some sandy sections. Time 42 min. A good start.

10th. Where's the F'n bridge? 7.6 km. The first 5 km was the same kind of nice trails as in the morning and I felt good, picking up the pace slightly compared with the first leg, That pace however was changed dramatically. The last 2,5 km was through a swamp, literally, and it also included a lake crossing. In some of the worst sections, they had put ropes that you could hold on to. Or you had to unless you wanted to stay in the swamp. Despite ropes, I went down to my neck in one hole, but I still enjoyed it and didn't loose as much time on these leg to the top team as on the first leg. Time 36 min.

14th. Don't Get Better. 4.6 km. The first 500 m was straight through the bush and thorns, but the rest was nice trails. Last run for the day so I gave it all and it felt good although the hills were getting painful, BUT then it happened. I missed a turn and continue to run for 400-500 m until I got to a trail intersection with no markers indicating which trail to take. Looked in each direction before I realized I was in the wrong place and went back and I was able to find the turn. That sucked. 26 km (ended up to be 6 km according to Garmin).
