Running 40:00 [4]

tempo-ish run. same loop as yesterday but solo this time. felt pretty good so decided after a few minutes to try to go sub 8 min/km and i think i was around that. dan and i had 7:55 (23.5-24K) last year at the ssr last year but we did a fair bit of road running and. paul and i had 8:25 (21.5--22K) two years ago.

AM: skating at Highlands. some fresh snow made conditions a bit slower than what they had been the previous days. felt good the first 10-20 minutes but for some reason i got tired quickly when i tried to increase the pace. not sure why.

PM: after having had to turn around a couple of times due to closed roads and driving on roads that should have been closed, we made it to parry sound where there was nothing but sunshine.
ran katta's trail with wil, snowshoes, just over 5K, but lots of snow and lots of drifts, up to the waist in places even with snowshoes. well almost. great run and i felt much better than this morning. should do double workouts more often i guess.
