Indoor biking 1:00:00 [3]

One hour on the Schwinn after a full day of downhill skiing at Mt St Louis. Beautiful day.

Indoor biking 1:00:00 [2]

Biking while watching Johaug totally crushing the rest. Hop skating in 30K is an impressive act.

Note

Too exhausted to do any training after having watched that relay. Hellner did what he could. Sodergren and Olsson didn't deliver. Silver is still good.

Note

Don't quote me on this one but this is said to be a tweet from Babikov (before it was removed) “One of us making the biggest mistake of his life today… and I lost all the respect for that person…”

I think I know who he is referring too. That's very unfortunate.

Running 25:00 [1]

Running tempo 30:00 [4]

Waterfront Trail and residential streets in Port Credit. Decided to do a tempo run 8K - goal was to run 30 min and to feel relatively comfortable doing it. Ran just over 30 minutes and relatively is...well...relatively so I guess, or think, I achieved my goals. Somewhat.

Note

No training today. Just enjoying the two golds. Canada's women did a good race today.
I hope Kalla and Ingmarsdotter are not too tired after today's race and can ski well tomorrow. The first two legs will be very important. The Finns will very likely try to do something there. And Italy has Longa as a starter. A bit surprising, and it seems like a waste if she is starting with aim to just be in the pack so I am guessing she together with the Finn Muranen will go hard from start. Norway can hardly avoid to win this relay. I will be happy with a bronze (can't even remember when Smaland got a medal last time).

Running 35:00 [1]

Running 35:00 [5]

Aberdeen loops every 4.5 min. 8 of them, each taking around 2:42 and mostly grass. Great group out and it felt pretty good.
That feeling didn't last long though...(from www.skidpepp.se). A frustrating race to watch. Oh well, more fun races to watch tomorrow. I predict Sweden and Canada on the podium.

Skiing 1:00:00 [2]

back to the bike and watching skis. rare to see such a close (and exciting) women's race. kowa has never been a fave but i feel a bit bad for her so close to beat the unbeatable. and longa - how can you change the pace like that. and the finns - what if the relay would have been classic only. swedes - no medal hopes today but 2 top 10 was reasonable to hope for.

brain says bauer, heart says rickardsson (well heart really says sodergren). could be ronning or cologna. teichmann takes the bronze as usual.
