Road biking. First 15k with Jen, Dave and Adria but then Dave and I turned north to get some more distance in. Decent pace at times. Right hamstring a bit tight but happy legs could bounce back relatively well from yesterday's semi-debacle.

MTB-ing to ACC as a warm up. I like warming up with biking - nice and gentle way to get the body going.

Not happy with this one. Felt ok the first couple of kilometers but after the climb just after the Burlington Runners bridge, I got the first taste of legs not responding very well. After that, every climb just added to the heaviness and it became more about simply keeping the legs going. I thought I could do at least 85 but not possible to be even close without any spark or maybe that was just me being overly optimistic. The valley was beautiful however and it was great to see all runners along the run. Many thanks to Trav for organizing this.

If biking is nice as a warm up, it is even better as a cool down when legs are done running.

It has only been biking or slow running for the past few weeks and I felt I wanted the legs to at least get some idea of the speed I will try to keep tomorrow. Didn't want to go too hard though and stopped two times for a minute each for some quick stretching.

The plan was to try to find the TNTers while Isak practiced soccer but for the third consecutive week - practice got canceled. At least we made it to the field this time. My hope was to get some speed, the first since the marathon, before Sulphur, but managed nothing more than a few minutes on the bike when we got back home.
